Hello everyone
Ok…I’ve decided to dive in to the world of blogging. Why? Because Twitter doesn’t allow me to speak more than 160 characters at a time. Why else? I have more I want to say. Just like when I signed up for Twitter, I thought no one would follow me. I’m now up to 218 followers and am pretty happy about that considering no one really knows me.
So who is Fred?
Fred is a 42 year old, Christian, single guy. I wasn’t always single. I was married for 17 years (yes, to the same woman). Unfortunately that ended. Only a few of you know the reason as to why, and that is the way it will stay. But know that much of what I will post about will be directly related to situations, good and bad, that resulted because of that divorce.
I also mentioned that I am a Christian. In my bio, it says Christian apologist. I am attending seminary at Liberty University and plan on graduating sometime in the next year and a half. I am NOT the religious right. I am NOT the protestant left. I am simply a Christian who follows Christ in all ways I can. God is everything to me. He is the air I breathe and the reason I live. My life is so blessed because of Him (yes, even divorce and all).
So this first post is simply my intro and nothing more. I’m happy you read it and I look forward to seeing comments in the future.
The verse that has been hitting me a LOT lately is Proverbs 31:30. I have seen that proverb at least 5 times today alone, and over 15 times in the past week. So for all the ladies out there, especially you moms (Happy mommy day, by the way), I challenge you to become a Proverbs 31 woman. Us Christian men are craving that. We are seeking that. And we really want to bless you Proverbs 31 women with our Timothy/Titus beliefs.
