Peru, Day 3
Another very busy day in Peru.
We met downstairs for breakfast at the Mission House, did a devotion, and headed out. We started by hitting an amazing little coffee shop that we frequented 2 years ago called Café Verde. The shop is amazing, but it was far out of our way, so I doubt we will be doing that again.
Afterward, we headed to the Dream Center, the church in the middle of La Victoria, to paint the sidewalks. Yesterday we painted the outside walls. Today we painted the sidewalks.
Mimi was a magnet for the kids.
As was I…
At the end of the day, the place looked amazing.
Tomorrow we begin our wheelchair mission. We will be heading out of town to unload a container of wheelchairs into the storage facility and then we have something special planned for the afternoon and evening.
